Quest - Engine Addicts

TV prog just starting now. This episode is all about the Beetle engine, trailers of upcoming shows seem to feature stuff like the Volvo 5-pot!

 

I know we've got an iconic engines thread just started but figured some of you might like a heads up.

It's on again, this week is the FSO Syrena engine.

Quest now or Quest+1 in, ern, an hours time.

I like the first half of the programme, but my interest wanes when they remove the engine from the car. What an amazing engine in the Syrena - only seven or eight moving parts (depending on who you believe)!

Wow. Sounds a great idea for a programme. Wonder if there's a non-telly way of viewing.

Just watched the Syrena one. A bit 'telly' in places (ie constant sodding repetition, some unnecessary drama) but very enjoyable. Amazing to see such an unknown car getting so much coverage. Thanks for the heads-up.

Hes quite an enthusiastic presenter but I've never heard of him before.
