Ah it was a Pontiac wagon, that explains the trim on the tailgate! The Suzuki Invader has caused me a tear of reminiscence. As for the rest its all too spaff-provoking to be looking at it at work - I think I may have just triggered the pron filter....

and the story of the trip

 

on the autobahn and about 20k from dussel it starts getting very busy and 3 lanes of shite, so start filtering and about 3 miles later it starts going from 3 lanes to as i found out 1 - bike is getting very warm as its 25c and filtering with lots round - no airflow - get to the head of the traffic and this lady is parked when it goes from two lanes into 1 - straddling the white line and people are struggling to get past - i dont speak much german and she spoke a little rngllish after living in holland for years

 

park the bike and get her to sit in the car and push it across to hard shoulder - then the hard bit - how to call for help, luckily the sos box is 100 ft from where we were but there was no obv opening for the phone - but there was a flap on the side and a hole and two buttons - one with a cross and a yellow one with two lines on it - umm and ahh a bit and she presses the yellow one - the phone rings - apprently if you press the red one ambulance and feuerwehr happen

 

she speaks to the box and quotes the numbers off the flap that say where she is and i say bye bye

 

she tries to give me brotchen but i say no and carry on bike is back to normal and then its 150 kmh carry on

 

i didnt check the dash but its highly likely she might have run out of petrol
