Coprolalia Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 Mindbogglying gopping. BrotherJ bought one of these when his mk2 1.3 golf expired. It was a CatC repaired one cheap that had been fire damaged and melted it's loom with only a partial repair. Epitomy of italian motoring/ people: buzzy, light, slowly sipped the go-go juice.Epitomy of italian motoring/ people: smoked occaisionally for no reason and often to look stylish, compained often, had extended breaks from working, fell apart over 40. Well done!
vulgalour Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 Mindbogglying gopping...stylish, compained often, had extended breaks from working, fell apart over 40. Best description of a Punto/Italian yet read.
Forty-two Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 I had a derv one of these, 1.9 not the 1.3 asmatic thing. Did 100,000 miles in it. P/Xed for the Subaru when it became too much of a basket case. I was so glad they gave me money for it! Airbag warning light was on and other things I forget. best thing about these, proper bumpers. They don't explode when you hit stuff!
bub2006 Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 I'm going to say i've got a soft spot for these...the first chod i've ever driven with a remotely "modern" feel to them, had one as a courtesy car last year and loved it (apart from no heater in November), don't know whether to tip my hat to you Sir or feel jealous as i am looking for barrel scraping motoring for under £200 at the moment as i'm currently working for the Civil Service as a Jobseeker Allowancer. (Hours are great, pay is crap etc...) I know of a nice citroen xsara for sale. Price is a little bit more than what you have though. Pm for info Skut 1
