Totally disheartened with the whole car thing *Mood-hoover content*

I took my 1500TC to the Triumph show at Stoneleigh a few years back. Nice enough but it gets a bit wearing after a couple of hours.

 

The Amazon has been to one show but firmly located in the car park.

 

Would like to have gone to a couple of shows this year but I just forgot tbh.

If anyone is feeling glum about shows and generally unloved bring your jalopy over to sunny Rutland this weekend, we are doing a tour of various local hostelries (drinking orange juice obvs) and generally exploring/picnicing at the verge/chilling out. Got everything from a traction engine to a (Trumph) Spitfire, old tractors, Landies etc. All welcome!!

I like covering car shows for work, but I'd hesitate to display one of my own cars. Too many get-togethers are shorthand for 'concours only'.

Was thinking of going to a show in Rickmansworth tomorrow but lacking in energy and motivation.
