A /use of/ trailer suitable to move an A0 art desk (LE17)!

I've gone and bid on an A0 drawing table dahn sarf, stupidly thinking "Oh, it'll go in my E320 nae bother".

Well, there's a lot of bother. It's 1.35m tall, 1.2m long AND 1m wide. And the top doesn't come off because I luckily got the super counterbalanced one instead of the ones that look like a glorified trestle table.

My car has a towbar, with twin electrics. So, I need a trailer. I've asked on FB to see if any friends have one (or a van) with no luck, so I figured I'd ask here, and the aside to 'needing to use a trailer for a day (or a few hours in said day)' is that if I can find the right sort of trailer I'm also interested in buying one (or swapping one for one of my spare Macbooks (don't get excited, older ones) or somesuch. Frankly if I were offered a 2m 4-axle braked job that wasn't hanging, I'd try to swap the MG F for it, but then who wouldn't.

(Edit: I'm thinking of those sort of 'flat base with sides like the back of a pickup' ones, not a car trailer or box trailer).

If anyone could lend me one I'd be really grateful. And I'd get a proper plate made up and make sure the wiring was good so no chance of getting pulled.

(Does it say anything about my attitude to cars that I nearly considered putting the E320 up saying "swap for a pickup truck" as a solution to this?)

Where did you buy it from? A mate of mine was selling one like you've described.

Are you about to start up your own styling house?

I have an 8' by 4' trailer with sides and a drop down tailgate. You are welcome to borrow it.

I've got to collect in Woking - I would hugely appreciate that - I'll PM you.

Nibblet: eBay! I'm working on a graphic novel - and working from little to know roots in art, so I'm starting by working on the panels I can see clearly at a large scale and then working down to the styles I want (it needs to mimic different eras of comic). I got one without drafting machine or parallel motion, just the table, but it cost a fraction of the new price and came with a nice clean undamaged chair as well - I missed out on some fully equipped ones.

I have just found out I need to use it on Saturday (18th July) but the rest of the time it should be free.
