SHOCK, MG SPOTTED IN THE WILD

When rover still made cars, we had a sales manager from a printing and labelling supplies firm visit our company, as we were looking for something they did quite well.  He had the V8 version of the MG/75 in estate form.  I asked him how brave was he, reference likely reliability. He said "well it was on the company leasing list, I don't pay for my own petrol, and someone else is paying for it. I have to pay company car tax, but you've got to support a british firm, if it's not actually costing you much"

hence the reason why I wouldn't buy an mg3 or 6.

A friend of mine actually bought an MG3 with his own money. I haven't been in it yet but did have a look round it. That was less than a week ago and I can't remember anything significant about it except that it's red. It looked like, well, a car, pleasant enough in that generic modern way but nothing special.
