Looks like a descent little meet, especially for a winter one. Let me know the date of the next one and I'll see if I can make it if I'm local.

 

To answer the question asked, CF Bedfords and indeed most Bedfords are held in high regard over here, as they were strong sellers right until Bedford sales ended in the 80's. The CF was also built locally, unlike the Transit (I think), so were more popular. Still a bit of a rare sight, sadly. I spotted the yellow one above in Nelson last Easter on what it seems was its first trip after renovation.
