A quick Gumtree trick.

This might be well known and therefore pointless, but I thought it might help someone?

There is the option to search for cars 'over 10 years old' which isn't very autoshite let's be honest. However if you click over 10 years and then in the address bar find the 'over_10' part and change to whatever you like. 'over_20' works well.

You legend. With this knowledge I can now browse for crap cars I can't afford far more efficiently.

Works a treat!

But cars only get displayed when you change it to 29 years, because that's when the last cars were made.

Excellent. Gumtree is now useful again. Did you get a Cub Scout badge for this Am? :)

I've used a similar trick on certain erm… non-automotive… websites to good effect before. Good work.

Really?  There are web sites out there that are non-automotive?  Please advise?

That's brilliant, I wished autotrader had a similar function, it's age selector on the advanced search stops well short of chod territory.
