That belongs to a 25 year old lad! It's huge, he took me out in it once and he had to drive over the centre white line as it's too wide for the roads!,

I really wish I had turned up a bit earlier, it looked like it was an amazing show, especially all the yank tanks. I will definitely have to make an earlier appearance for the next one.

 

Sorry I didn't get a chance to talk to you yesterday trigger, I actually walked past the back of the Scimitar with all the brochures yesterday, only deciding not to have a closer look as I didn't want to disturb the group that was already there. If I had known it was you I probably would have said a quick hello.

 

Do you know when exactly the next one will be, or hasn't it been decided yet?

Didn't some of the early Sierras have colour tinted plastic bumpers? It looks like that one has them in a brownish colour instead of the standard grey.

 

Yep. My dad's '83 Ghia had a blue colour-toned front bumper and a grey colour-toned rear one. Didn't show too badly TBH.

 

Excellent work by the way, Trig. You had decent weather for it, too. Wish I could have made an appearance, it looks like it was a good one, but having said that, they all are. And if there were brochures for sale I'm glad I gave it a swerve - I'd be bankrupt by now.

No not yet mate but i will post it up here when i do, i need to work out dates with my mate as we both do shift work and try to do them when we are both off.

I was getting very excited stocking up on new brochures, I got this little lot for £16, I've never even heard of a Mazda RX-3 Esatte before!.

 

 

 

The nice thing is that they are all local brochures from dealers in Ipswich.

Fair play to him! The guy obviously has style!

 

My Mercury is the same, it won't fit in a normal lane and does go over the centre sometimes. It doesn't fit in a parking bay either, I need to use four back to back bays usually to fit the length and width in and open the doors. Those Chryslers are very similar really, they are about the very last of the true full size Yankee land yachts.
