oldcars Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 I think it depends where you stay and how much salt is battered on the roads. I bought my Santa Fe from Halifax, no rust at all, but some later ones i see around here have rusting rear wipers, and around the wiper arm and back arches. Mines ok.
John F Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 I see quite a few late 80s Mercs out & about, 190s mostly but some larger ones and a couple of SLs.
Junkman Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 There are still loads of J-reg Protons out there. beko1987 1
Coprolalia Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 As a driver of a mid-90s VW - tons of mid-90s VW Polos and Golfs.More so than early 00s versions.I think I see more K-R plate golfs and M-T Polos than any of the 00s VWs. All the early 00 plate VWs I see look absolutely shagged too.Fewer electric gizmos and dual mass flywheels to go wrong?
martc Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 The Horsey Horseless still gets regular mentions. chaseracer and Junkman 2
