stripped fred Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 Where do you buy yours? I need to buy some bolts for my mr2 to put the side skirts back on as the old ones are very rusty. I could go to the main dealer but I'd rather not. Just wondering which online suppliers you use for nuts, screws, bolts etc
gm Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 screw fix are not bad if you are buying a decent amount stripped fred 1
derskine Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 I try to get them from work where possible, but they don't always have weird sizes so I use a local engineering shop who are fantastic, and are on ebay too. http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Clarik-Engineering-Supplies/FASTENERS-AND-FIXINGS-/_i.html?_fsub=2680700
Junkman Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 I buy them from the Pope. http://www.brianpope.com/ stripped fred 1

DSdriver Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 For general stuff stainless steel ones from ebay. May cost a few pennies more but saves a lot of grief next time you need to undo. Not good for stuff that has to be torqued up though because they sheer much sooner than mild steel.
stripped fred Posted April 23, 2015 Author Posted April 23, 2015 Get bent over at Halfords.Only as a last resort...
