Pfft. Who needs a new exhaust when I have gun gum, jubilee clips and some empty cherry coke cans at my disposal!

Pog’s taken the words out of my mouth about that Lancer! Looks like it lives there, any chance of leaving a note on it? Be a lovely thing to own one day, or at least get the owners aware of www.oldjapanesecar.comThe Transit is wonderful.DPV reg’n on the red Volvo estate suggests it might have been an ex-importers car? Certainly started life in Suffolk, I remember the big Volvo compound in Ipswich as my dad worked nextdoor to it

would that be the Maxi's, Silvia's or 240's?That Y reg Volvo's getting a note tonight, been there ages and is on SORN! Still got the dealer stickers on, Lex I think? SL, PM me what you'd like on a note and I'll pop one on!

My, you've been busy! Take it we're referring to the thing with the Looney Tunes in the Windscreen? 8)

Ah, that would be the Silvias. Gazelle is what they were called over here in the colonies.

For a minute I got all excited thinking I'd spotted two Singer Gazelles without noticing! Curses to Messrs Nissan for nicking the name!I bet there's loads of Gazelle owners in Australia impressed with the reliability and speed of their Singers

We get BBC 1 and 2 here, same programmes as on your side of the water, only an hour later... no CeeFax anymore though. What a glorious selection today, 100% score!!

So i went North to the Highlands on my holiday but but spotted this in London first:

Then I picked up my new Volvo 850 in Crewe and went to Ilkley in Yorkshire where I spotted these lovely Maxis:

And this contraption which I consider sweet and possibly Maxi related:

Posted Image

Then I stopped with friends in Whitehaven where these two nuggets appeared:

Then to Scotland where there was little tat of note, these two were abandoned, too new imho, the Megane had no wheels on the near side, the windows were out on the Micra but the Blaupunkt stereo, keys and service books were inside!

I think it's a normal UK plate, just ageless and therefore on the 12 it'd be a private plate
