Wanted Adjunct to Most dependable engines (whinge)

For my weekend's entertainment Mr. R.A.C. Recovery have delivered  Fiesta 1.4 Zetec SE (Duratec/Sigma)  engined failure to move ( failure to get to work) item to block the driveway. 50k miles but zero compression suggests bent valves etc.  In tip top condition (it's not) the car may be worth £500 so does anyone have a cheap (£40?) but complete head with cams for a FXJA/FXJB ???

Put a ford v4 in it.

Put a bridge under it and buy a Suzuki Alto.

Unfortunately my experience of those is from working in Kathmandu where every "real" taxi was a bent scratched bald tyre shod miniature car Suzuki which wouldn't stop me owning one but she has to have an two pedal version.
