(Not so Shitey) Renaults for Christmas

Recommended Posts

As there seems to be plenty of Renault love here, and I'm stuck at work for the first four hours of today while nothing is happening, here's a random Christmas posting of some not-so-shitey Renaults I photographed at a French car show in Australia in 2005, in numerical and then alphabetical order.

Merry Christmas!

Absolutely lovely!! Renault styling dept was on top of it's game back in the day, huh?

Never seen seats like those in that R16 before. R10 looks brilliant on those little wide steelies. Funny how most old Renaults that came with large steelies like the 4CV, R8 and R10 look better on 13's.

OMG, thats my dream garage all together in one field!

Must be great to live somewhere where a 2005 Megane, C4 or Clio is regarded as a esoteric and mildly eccentric car purchasing decision, and you can then take said vehicle to a classic car show. Lovely early Renaults - a rust free Mk1 5!!

They look like 17 or 12TS sports seats to me.

Could that be an 'Aussie Frogs' event per chance?

I've never seen a picture of a Renault Fregate before - I love it - tres obscure!Interesting to note that all the vehicles pictured have what looks like near-perfect paintwork - lovely stuff :D

love them all ! the 16's seats will be a product of aussie legislation, they discovered WHIPLASH about then. And Ithink all cars got high-backed seats.

Yep! Aussie Frogs, 2005. It was a superb show and I'm very envious of the variety and condition of all classic cars down in Australia brought on by their fantastic weather...
