The vacuum bonnet prop is not factory. I feel so proud to own a truly crap car.

Yep, doing the Plymouth to Banjul (ironically as it goes to neither of those places) Moroccan off road challenge.

Note the October '05 tax disc for added style.

Blimey I thought it was mine apart from the fact that there is more of a shine to the paint and the fact that its a K reg, and mine is L reg but still its a dizezal. Great car, totally shite :D:D

We're doing the Morocco off road wotnot, so RHD is fine as we don't go further South. Plus you get to bring your Shite home with you. If it lives.

Terrifying colour balance makes it look like the car is full of wag. It's not. I've painted the walls since then as well

I like the idea of these banger rallies, the adventure and all that. It just all the 'wackyness' on some of them - dressing your car up like a dog and all that - that puts me off. However, what you've done seems mercifully free of that and looks a lot better. Africa and back in an AX is the sort of thing I'd rather enjoy I suspect!

Looks like an adventure more than 'wackiness'. Good work, like Mr. Lobster I'd like take part in one of these more adventurous banger rallies

It was great - we had just enough comedy problems and no serious ones. Issues included:Rear view mirror falling offKey breaking whilst being used to remove stones from tent poleTyre side wall disintegrating but only at a comfortably low speed and next to a handy gravel shoulder for wheel changing.I'm still wrestling with the rest of the photos but I'm going to try and select a few good ones - there are well over a thousand. The AX had been off the road since 2005 and that made it even more fun - we know of a Sid and Doris Hillman Hunter that's been in a garage since the early nineties when Sid passed away. The idea of taking that to Iran to see the Peykans really appeals now :)I've spent all my money now though :P
