Lots & lots of newly-qualified drivers have accidents because they don't know how to slow down properly on wide bends. Can't understand why driving instructors don't explain that one properly.

Thing is you lose something the size of an s class and you're not going to catch it anyway! Once the back end starts to fish tail its only a matter of time before you hit something.

IIRC it was auctioned about 10 years ago for a ludicrous amount of money, I want to say £800k... that's ridiculous though, maybe it was £80k, or it could have been £8 I really can't remember

After a bit of research, it went to a museum (in 1998), the guy apparently had offers of £2,000,000 ( ) though...
