Citroen Ax Project (16v Hybrid Conversion)

I have decided that I am going to do something slightly different after doing some research.
I will be taking the j4 head and the jp4 valves to foxwood diesel (head specialists) and say... that head... those valves... sort it...
then leaving the j4 cams will give me bigger valves with a more aggressive cam... more power gain (hopefully)

well after being given full time hours at McDonalds i have finally got more money to spend on the ax.... which results in less time to work on it but weirdly since gaining 30-40 hours a week i've also done more on the ax which is good but god damn i need to get used to being knackered on a daily basis aha!! 

i have got tyres for the wheels once refurbed which one of 4 is finished, one wheel took 3 days of work between two of us! 

Plans for the future are unknown yet because its easier to decide what to do on the day, less hassle with headaches from planning something that wont go to plan 

Tomorrow im hoping to have the engine out or indeed ready to be removed on my next day off. After the engine is removed i can clean the engine bay up and patch up the few rusty patches we've found, nothing major though.

i shall update the thread more often now as more will be happening, i have a deadline to meet so fingers crossed it will be finished in time.

Well the engine came out a couple of days ago, took me about 3 hours with a few breaks and a trip to the shop which I thought wasn't too bad considering that a year ago I knew fuck all about cars, I could change a spare wheel and do a simple service and that's about it

Didn't find as much rust as I expected which is promising, less welding for me! Oh and the white stuff, me and Graham (chompy snake) thought we'd celebrate by contacting the local drug dealer and purchasing a years supply of cocaine which went everywhere sadly, note to self... Never attempt to snort cocaine from the light panel on an ax or any car for that matter!
