Upgefucked Renault box of gears swap skilshortage advice needed

I am needing advice due to skilshortage and being completely skint but owning a garden ornament in the shape of an old Renault trafic.  How simple/easy will it be to change the buggered gearbox/diff on my   '97 Renault T900 2.1d, have found another box of gears which will definitely* fit for surprisingly few British Euros so the plan to bridge it may have to wait.  Lack of HBOL on the subject and no leads from Renner owners club so vast helpage needed.

Not too bad if you remember to lift the inspection panel on the transmission tunnel under the rubber floor mat.

 

Roll pins under a collar to remove driveshafts iirc
