Glass cleaner

I was thinking of getting some Rain X specifically for the front window - why don't you like to use it?

The rear wiper scuds about on the rear window as it seems too efficient at removing water whilst there is a couple of wipes left. Can you still by wiper lubricant which was added to the washer water? Would rain X help?

Rain x is great stuff. I use it on all outside windows. Its the rain x in a yellow spray.

I have always been crap at cleaning windows but god at putting it off until another day.

After a couple of months of procrastinating I cleaned the windows at home

I use an industrial glass cleaner and blue roll as they 'give it away free' where I work.

Cleaned the windows on boxing day.

Following day the sun shines.  I swear I have made them worse than they were.

I have similar success with car windows.

As an apprentice (15YO) I was press-ganged into cleaning the shop windows one quiet day.

They never asked me to do that again.

All I know is that after cooking breakfast on the bonnet of the golden nugget at sf14 I had to use brake cleaner to get the grease off.

I've found that cleaning the windows, and window cleaning is two different things.

If you go in with blue roll, window cleaner, vinegar, newspaper or whatever when there's any dirt at all on the windows, or trim, or rubber, or anything your cloth may touch will result in a bloody awful mess.

Use loadsa water first, soap, rinse, let it dry and then go for the window specific stuff.
