doug Posted November 30, 2014 Posted November 30, 2014 Went for a wee mooch aboot to an old mine winding house today. The mine closed in 1989 and this looks as though it was old British Coal colours so probably been there since closure. This was behind it not sure what it was/is. HMC, londonm, DS20 and 10 others 13
trigger Posted November 30, 2014 Posted November 30, 2014 This was behind it not sure what it was/is. DVLA says it was a 1986 Escort 1.6 L that's been of the road since 1994.
Pillock Posted November 30, 2014 Posted November 30, 2014 That's a Blue 1.6 Ford Escort, tax due in 1994 so racked up a few fines by now.... Lasted 8 years and has been there for 20! Edit: Trigger must have faster internet Twiggy and trigger 2

Mr_Bo11ox Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 I saw a good sherpa yesterday as well: D-red and owned by an old guy with a big beard, it had the 1.8 B-series diesel and the wholt thing shook side-to-side on tickover. He left it running as he went into Smithsons for summert. Jim Bergerac, Cavcraft and mercrocker 3
Cavcraft Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 Probably the first van I ever drove. I think it had a 1700 O series engine or whatever they were called. It wasn't too bad, but a later Peugeot engined LDV400 2.5 diesel felt like a fucking rocket in comparison.
