Things that actually do what they are meant to do....

Recently got a new "smartphone" due to being due a free* upgrade etc. The new one has Google maps/satnav and 4G included. A revelation after using an ancient*(2007) Garmin device. Uses a combination of GPS and live data. Shows traffic conditions as they occur in real time and was deadly accurate on a recent 500 mile journey. Piloted Mrs B and me around London and home again faultlessly. Seemed to be accurate to within 50 feet or so. Lovely. Stuff that works!

(Will no doubt fail massively next time I use it)

I recently got a new laser printer, and compared to anything I've had before, this thing's a revelation. Doesn't chew paper or rip through ink, and the ink doesn't cost the same as a 78 Chateauneuf. Stick it in black and white mode, and it's so fast you'll have pages all over the floor if you don't keep an eye on it. Scans up to 80 pages unsupervised and can turn the pages over. It wasn't even all that expensive.

Details please! Our current printer is the work of the Devil.

Same as this, except mine has NFC and the top plastics look slightly different. Model number is the same, though.

I got mine from Viking with a bit of a discount, but they don't seem to have any at the minute.

I have had the pleasure of owning three XM's in the past. I loved two of them. The third was a total git. It did nothing it was supposed to do. At all.

WD-40, which has loads of uses that aren't even on the tin.
