Morning shiters, very much enjoyed the Donnington rescue mission last night.

 

I'm finding it ridiculously difficult finding someone to fit a pair of nice new speakers I've bought for my 405, are they that difficult?  Have just been let down today and thought Sod it why not have a go myself.

 

Basically it's a pair of Focal ISS speakers with separate tweeters.  The car already has separate tweeters on the dash, is it just a question of replacing new for old? Trouble is these new ones have something called crossovers, (built into the wiring??), it all looks very complicated.  Do they need to be wired into the main units?  I suppose I'll need to attach the bare ends of each wire to each other and will need some sort of crimping tool.

Not much more to installing components, over co-axial speakers, mate.
