French spots June 2014

A few spots from my recent travels...

 

CX on a back street on the way to the local bar. Which closed at 8pm

 

Strange extended Kangoo - never seen one on these shores!

 

Wandered round a scrapyard, and spotted a BX just like mine! Sadly parts prices were stupid, things like lights were more than you could pick up a new part over here.

 

Having a look for anything useful.

 

Reasonably tidy Renault 18 in the same yard; unsure whether it was going for scrap or destined to be saved.

 

Dyane van seemingly in regular use

 

Renault 4s still common - this one had been parked up a week or so back and (from what little French I understand!) the owner had lost the keys. It'll probably still be there next year...

 

Dusty 504 pickup which looked like it hadn't been stood all that long.

 

Not one but two Cortinas parked up! A 1.3 estate, and a saloon with modern wheels and a tasteful* exhaust.

 

Nice bar, with a tatty 306 spoiling/improving the shot!

Top spots sir. That renner 4 is ace. If the owner knew how much they go for over here he'd find them pronto
