On Saturday 9 august, my village is having a carnival. We are having a wee car show at the same time. 20-30 cars and old tractors as a diversion from the carnival itself. If anyone wants to come along let me know. Will be from about twelve till 4.30 and you won't be able to move your car till then. I'll have the fiat 126, an xm and the Messerschmitt down for it. Let me know if you want to come.

 

It's in Ruardean in the Forest of Dean fifteen mins off the m50 and the views from the carnival field are to die for. Open show at the church too. Beer tent, burgers and all the fun of a village carnival.

Just a reminder that our village carnival (and World Championship Horlicks Competition) is on this saturday from 12.30.

 

My village is home of Horlicks (yes, it was invented here) and we're having a world championship sponsored by Horlicks themselves, to see who can drink a pint of the stuff through a straw in the fastest time. The winner will become a world champion.

 

We have all the normal stalls and a few classic cars and tractors. Anyone who wants to bring a car, drop me a PM. Be there at Townend, Ruardean, Forestt of Dean, at 12.20 for a parade into the show field at 12.30. Forty plus stalls, plus a few unusual cars. See you there.
