After a productive* morning working at home, I lobbed the seven miles into Thame to buy some porky chops, some Fairy Liquid and a windscreen wiper.   I got all of those, and a copy of Bin Weevils magazine for my daughter, but also this rich haul of tat spottages:-

Love the doorless, seatbeltless Landrover, it's one way to keep your passenger's attention

The best early Landy that I have ever seen.  it is just fabby in every way, even on those chunky modernish wheels.  The last time that I saw this Landy it was on its original wheels and skinny tyres, so perhaps it has been or is going to go out to play somewhere OVROAD.

PS the Skoda pickup was driven by a beardy giffer who scowled at me as I snapped him sail past.  The Fiat Ducato camper was driven by a grumpy looking beardy giffer who parked it and went off to the hardware store.    The Mitsubishi Shogun was driven by a yummy mummy.  No fucker would own up to the others, and who can blame them?

Failed to photo cos driving:  1990 Audi something, 1996 Astra, 1995 Japanese EnormoSUV of some kind.

PS:  isn't that Peugeot the most miserable looking thing ever?  Grey on grey on grey, and ultra povvo spec, as far as I could see.   Result: WINNAR

There are also a 1950s split screen black Morris Minor and a milky coloured Scimitar GTE living outdoors on the outskirts of the town.

In Stokenchurch the other day I spotted a D reg Nissan Bluebird in full Giffer spec, driven by some bloke who almost certainly bought it new.  It was a thing of total Autoshite joy, but I was driving so no photos, alas.  There is a dude who uses Risborough Station who has a mega shagged out square box Polo as his commuter wagon.  I am stalking this vehicle for a photo, but no joy yet.   Also a regular sight in Stoken - a G or maybe H reg  E30 325i Convertible in spiffytastic condition, with the tartan seats and cross spoke alloys and the whole nine yards.

The owner of the bluebird used to park in the kings carpark before, seen that one about.

A W reg MG ZT (the estate one) coughed into the carpark once in a cloud of steam. Owner said he would have a pint whilst it cooled fill it back up and carry on his journey!

And that Belmont estate I spotted once!

There is also a local Barry who has a yellow MG hatchback thingy with seat fabric the same pattern but not the same colour as a late Lancia HPE, and a right old ASBO exhaust.

Ah I never saw that. There's a poor 318 and MX5 that get twatted around by some local chavs, nearly scarificed the zx to teach them a lesson when they were doing donuts in the road once, but they fucked off when I didnt brake for them and they had to abandon their DRIFTZ YO...

They nearly hit Amy when she was getting out of her car once, always waiting for the oppertunity to fuck them up!

I used (about 7-10 years ago) to go to meetings for work in Thame, one of the guys I went to see drove a very nice Ferrari Mondial in red, no pics I'm afraid and I think he has retired now. The office was at the top of high street.

It's a bit modern TBH...  :-P

There is a guy on the B4012 just South of Thame with hundreds of Volvos in his field, mostly Amazons and 340s - Some look like they are in use but most are pretty ornamental at this point. I keep meaning to stop and get photos but I never do.

Also you missed the whacking great 1930s Hudson on the other side of town. And there is usually a matching pair of yellow Skoda Felica Funs in the high street sort of area. Next time I am there I will take some photos of the stuff in my friend's garden, it's a hoarder's dream

The whitish Scimitar has PHAT wheels with cheap-ass tyres, is a manual, and has Alfa Romeo GTV seats.   In the yard there is a 2 door classic Rangey in bits, and a Scimitar GTC from circa 1976 on blocks.  The two Minis, including a Mayfair with fine steelies, are taxed, as are some of the other heapz, including the whitey Scimitar. The car in the garage is some sort of big saloon, but I could not see which type.  Possibly a Bristol.
