Amongst the utterly "common" Ferraris, Lambos and Astons up at Goodwood's Supercar Sunday I thought a few pictures of older/rarer/downright shite would be of interest to you guys. In all honesty there were some gems out of the 500 or so cars there, but not as many as I'd hoped. Anyways, enjoy!


Started off well! Though being a new shiter I did feel a tad silly taking a pic of a Saab and an Escort with all the horsepower about

Only a couple of Esprits about. Actually there were more current Lotii Evoras and Europas here, and bearing in mind these guys have been selling fewer cars than MG, that's quite an achievement!

Wow, those Holden utes seem so boring mundanely everyday over here but it's always nice to see one in a different setting. Marcos went through a terriby styling era at the end, eh? Looks like a chop shop creation. Plus, I'd heard about the Bristol Fighter but wasn't sure whether one had ever been ordered, as it was all a bit shrouded in secrecy, as per the Bristol fashion. I don't think any journalist has test driven one, for instance. Didn't it have some wild claim of 200+ mph and 1000+ bhp, in an era before the Veyron?

Yes, this was the first, and probably most popular, Breakfast Club meeting of the year.

 

Not at all on the AS-centric sphere, but I'm not going to be forgetting a Pagani Zonda slowing down as he went past a grinning me on the completely empty A27, then absolutely gunning it very soon!

 

There were at least 20 each of 911s, 458s, Gallardos and DB9s. And 2 McLaren F1 GTRs.

 

Didn't even get time to look at any bikes either!
