HillmanImp Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 http://www.1000sel.com/ A mate has pointed me in the direction of this website of the weird and wonderful modified and coachbuilt cars. Not seen it before so don't think its glasscock. I like this mod to the XJS: The conversion looks very simple at first sight, but looks can be deceiving. The whole roof had to be removed and the rear body panels and trunk modified. The passenger- and rear window are completely new. A convertible Silver spirit. Hood 'neatly' folded away: This is the interior of a modified Mercedes: Very tasteful Sticking with stylish modifications, here is a Merc that would not look too out of place in central Bradford, innit. This maybe looked good in the 1980's but all I know is that its not aged well. ATCNBE Glenfrome Facet Range Rover looks like a Renault 5 has mated with a Chevette and bulked up on steriods, either that or I have accidentally ingested some hallucinogens and am experiencing what can only be described as a 'bad trip': Gullwing Mercs seem to be a popular conversion. This is an old photo when they were able to hold themselves up, apparently they are quite droopy now. ATCNBE Benz Rover cannot be unseen: Panther Cars built an S-class with a nose of a Aston-Martin Lagonda Really? I need to see this. There are some Robert Jankel cars on the website but not that one. Quite a lot of crazy shite on the website and quite an interesting read. The car the site is named after seems pretty tame in comparison to some of the modded ones on there. I have linked these images directly from the website. I hope the chap does not get upset with me stealing his bandwidth and replaces the photos with pics of fat girls getting off with each other or owt. I have linked to his site so hopefully he won't mind. KruJoe, drum, Shep Shepherd and 5 others 8

HillmanImp Posted April 19, 2014 Author Posted April 19, 2014 Think they are Audi lights on the back of that top Porsche?
mercrocker Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 That's what I thought too -- it is most likely something off the shelf. I saw one of these XJS things somewhere, got a picture too but buggered if I can find it now....
RedSparrow Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 Man, the 80s were a load of old shit weren't they? Wilko220 and sporty-shite 2
