Worth the wait ;-)

Get your acquaintance on here so we can have that picture on the calendar. Or buy it off him, better still.

the latter is the preferred option!

It's very solid and nice inside - and has never been restored - still on the original paint and interior. Tyres are 20+ years old and that engine is technically rebuilt, albeit two decades ago.

His mum wants it gone and he will never do it up. She knows I want it too.

Here's the back - yes the garage it is in is big enough for six - eight cars!

It's nearly a proper barn find!

Vauxhall Cresta, right?

Go for it, great cars (just don't take it out in the rain).

Don't worry, it is 100 per cent complete. All the bits are with it. It even has a wing on this side!

It's a late E Series Cresta - top of the range! Having owned two PA Crestas I know about the rust issue. This is a Scottish car that has lived in garages almost all its life and is in fantastic condition for its 65 years!

Um, the E came out in '51 I think?  So perhaps just a shade less than 65 years, not that it matters a lot ........

yep - it's a 56 I think! The early ones had a side opening bonnet.

Mrs MO had a 57 Wyvern before I met her, I've had two PAs and three CAs so not all Vauxhalls R Shit@
