Snake Oil?

I've just been to Halfords to get some oil.  The 9-5 runs on synthetic to avoid OMG SLUDGE problems  -  have you seen their prices??  

 

They also sel,l under their own brand, oil recommended for different marques, Ford, BMW etc. at significantly varying prices.  Surely Audi's oil can't be that different to GM's oil?  Or are they trying to lift our leg?

 

Anyroadup, I couldn't bring myself to pay £36 so I went on my way to Tesco  -  where a big can of the generic stuff is £16

Saab should use vauxhall fully syn 5w30 . Dexos2 I belive is the grade.

 

As long at its fully syn it should be ok

Halfords' prices for most stuff nowadays are obscene.

 

I usually buy oil from ECP, there's various 25-30% discount codes on the internets which make them cheaper than anyone else.

 

Shitters in the south should also look out for SCATS stores, they stock quality Total stuff and are also very cheap.
