Lighting for mongs?

I'm a mong so if this sounds like a stupid question you know why.

I noticed earlier that my left brake light wasnt working but my left tail light still is, but they are the same light if that makes sense, ie there's not a separate different section of the tail light for the brake light and the tail light itself, all that seems to happen is the tail lift which is already on normally just gets brighter when you press the brake pedal, looks like the same bulb for both (like most moderns you can see the bulbs from the outside of the init) so is it in fact 2 bulbs using the same section but only 1 bulb is visible or is there something which makes the tail light bulb get brighter which is if fitted clearly broken on the led hand side.

One bulb, two filaments. I've never tried, but it must be possible to fit the bulbs the wrong way around, judging by the number of cars I see with one permanent brake light.

But effectively I can fix it by simply replacing the bulb? Nothing more serious than that

Your car is hopelessly fucked, allow one of us to take it off your hands before it kills kittens and nuns

the bulb should push and turn easily into position, if it dont turn the bulb 180* cos the pins are offset

Had these in my first car, seat Ibiza 1043i and I managed to fit it the wrong way round. Had to destroy the bulb and bodge the holder I broke with milliput
