I'm suddenly drawn to that top-spec Riva Saw a tidy N-reg Samara saloon the other day, old boy looked like he'd probably had it from new. Very few Ladas of any type hereabouts nowadays.Good luck with the hunt

The 1600 SLX had a spoiler - to use as a handle when pushing it! I took my first driving lesson in one and I have fond memories of my dad squeezing 100mph out of it too! (private road of course!)

Were the chopped springs too much of a compromise?I don't really understand the point of the whole 'slammed' thing, at least for cars you have to use every day.
