Neither big trailie or tourer but very nice all the same. Air cooled is for winners anyhow and that looks a fine example of how it should be done.

I had a ride on a zzr 1100 and can remember that it would beat the national speed limit in first if you were prepared to let it rev some! Crazy stuff.

Oh yes- big pussycat but the speedo needle just keeps goin and goin. My early C model would still pull 160+ on the Autobahn. Wrote off a Polo with it and it didn't even notice.Wheelspin on mwhite lines at 100 made your rabbits nose twitch a bit though.

Fair play to you, I remember these first time round and they were bloody awful. No offence and all that.

Ahhh, a Kwak Z250. They don't suffer neglect well, lots of them wrecked their camshaft journals due to missed oil changes.

Looks like a tidy enough beastie for its age though.

It's not a belt driven Scorpion is it?

Didn't they bore out that lump to 305 and make a snazzy* looking belt drive affair too?

Yep, the GPz305 Scorpion - styled to look like its bigger GPz stablemates.

Definitely snazzy, although pretty gutless and with the same cam journal woes. Still would, though.

Bike nerd phact, alluded to by Warren in a previous posting: the Z250 was also available with the belt drive as the Z250T Scorpion.

Rather depressingly, the GPZ305 has twin front discs unlike my GPZ500.  :-(

The z250 was also avaliable as a single cylinder- popular in the 'states, and as a "custom" version- the LTD.

They do make nice cafe racers!

Yeah, and it also came in two stroke triple flavour that was 10000000% better.

Jesus, I'd sell my soul for an H1 in my life....

I'd love another go on a KH250. Not particularly fast, but what a soundtrack!
