Kia Picanto: the new Austin Metro?

Has anyone else noticed how Kia seem to be taking inspiration from a late '80s AR colour chart?

 

 

 

 

 

I reckon they look great in these colours - top marks to the Koreans for bringing back some great solid paint colour choices! Far better than solid white (which, laughably, some manufacturers actually charge for now!) or hideous "doom" blue...

I guess these are a sort of modern day metro. Probably a similar type of person that buys them, too.

I drove a Picanto in that blue recently. The colour was nice, but I'd still have the Metro.

Picanto's are cheap unti you want a model with aircon, the 2 door is a bit tight for space too.

 

I like an i20 in metallic lime green - very retro!
