'99 Rover 820 Sterling for sale. Telford.

Minding my own business, I just had to come across this one day:

 

 

So I made some enquiries about it.

 

Its been parked outside a pub for a small while now and is declared in a SORN, its still very clean on the outside with no rust or corrosion, the inside looks very clean as does the wood.

 

I only spoke to the owner very briefly so don't know too much about the car, but he did say that the car will fly through an MOT. I shall be going to cast my eye over it next week so will report back. I dont know of the price yet as we only had a brief word. The car is located in Shropshire. Tel. OH 77 EIGHT NINE 170 373.

I passed by this car again today, its getting greener unfortunately. However....

 

I have a garage around the corner from where this car is located, I am due to (reluctantly) give up the garage, but I could keep it on and sub-let it to anyone who is interested in the car but who can't commit straight away. Garage is £20 per month.

The couple of discreet mods plus the NGK sticker suggest (to me) someone of reasonable taste who is likely to have looked after the car properly. If I was in the market for one of these I'd be all over this baby.

The picture I took of the interior was through the window as I've not met the seller. Peeking through the window again today suggests the car has so far covered 88k. Oh, and as its a 2.0 there are no OMG HGF to worry about.

Yes I have. I'm not a fan of 2.0 Turbo Vitesses tbh, they are just not for me.

I've been giving one of these some serious thought *puts Citroen on ebay* and that looks tidy.

That baby drain pipe on the backe is suspect, mind. And Rovers never, ever, ever fly through MOTs. Well, mine don't.
