Bought another 205 - This time its defo shite!!

What it says on the tin! The GTi resto project is dragging on and on and the ITR is using a lot of fuel / cash.

 

The wife needs a car to learn in, and the ITR would cost another £1200 a year to insure with a provisional driver named on the policy!

 

So I went out and bought this - for £270 - with 12 months MOT and 6 months tax - its a steal!!!! Was only £200 to insure for both of us.

Interior is really good. My fiancee is absolutely delighted!!! Its a proper first car like first cars should be in my opinion.

An Integra Type R - me photobucket ain't working, but its a UK type red one.

Good score for the cash. ITR is a nice motor; I fancy an Accord Type R one day. But one without the "look at me, officer" rear hoop spoiler - without it it's a Q-car par excellence, like the Mazda6 MPS or Vento VR6.

Odd you should say that, I just removed the spoiler from the integra the other day.Might put it on the new 205.. . . . . .

Here is a pic of your Type R mate. Does look loads better without the rudeboy spoiler if you ask me.

Yes but the ITR is a proper sports car & thus is meant to look sporty, it looks naked without the rear spoiler, like those SW20 Toyota MR2s you sometimes see without a rear spoiler, it just looks odd!I quite like those 156 GTAs with the side skirts & rear wing. The 2 door coupe look styling really sets it off.

Nice little 205..Another vote for the ITR without rear spoiler, saw a pic of a white one de-spoilered and looked a lot cleaner.Cheers, Greg.
