BMW E21 for sale. Possibly...

Sorry if there's a classifieds section this should go. I only just got rid of the smart today after loads of messing around on ebay and would rather not go through it again for this particular car. A lot of people on AS better understand cars of this age should be preserved and originality maintained so I'd rather it go to the right person.

Mot up around May next year (can't remember exactly when - may be June)

Tax up tomorrow

101,000 miles. I took a photo of when it hit 100,000

FSH 90% BMW. Loads of supporting paperwork

Very careful owners. Last owner insisted on BMW parts.

Just been serviced. £510 so a big one. Garage was just really thorough replacing hoses etc.

New radiator last year

Just been waxoyled (fully documented with supporting photographic schedule of condition) I can not believe the condition of the underside. It is really good (sample photo attached)

Number plate on rear pre dates the 01 dialing code (this must be the only forum I can think of where that would mean something!)

Original order information available too. Optional extras included brown tinted glass, 5 speed (it's really hard to find a 5 speed 316)

Just had immobiliser professionally fitted (£300)

Seats professionally re trimmed with near as possible original fabric.

DVLA still not returned updated v5 since we moved to Saltford Will chase up.

Don't want to sell but Ã‚£3000. If there are no enthusiasts out there to look after it may as well just keep it in the garage otherwise as it is doing no harm at all. I'm a bit half and half about the sale but the flat roof needs sorting at home and no one's biting on the Honda Civic I'm trying to get rid of, even at £350!

Thanks

H

There’s no classifieds as such, but a wanted/offered thread. Most people flog stuff on it’s own separate thread, and you’ve probably got more chance of people seeing at anyway.

Looks nice, I DEFFO have it if my sister hadn’t broken her toe and I need to drive her around in a specially adapted MPV until it heals etc etc.

I read the title, looked at the photos, started reading from the bottom up where is said "I'm trying to get rid of, even at £350!", assumed that was the price even if it did not make any sense, and was about to send a PM before I realised it was a little more than that......

Aye, price and location would be of help!

Good luck with 3 large for a 316. But that will hopefully mean it won 't sell to an E21 enthusiast who, within days will have removed the front bumper, fitted some cheap coilovers and some crap alloys to be down wid da kidz despite being. 42.

yes, that's exactly the sort of buyer I want to avoid and I've priced it to put those sorts off if possible.

I purchased the car from a really nice guy and it was his late wife's car. I have always felt a sort of duty to look after it and leave it all as-is.

Always open to offers too.

£2750 and I think that'll be my final stab at it. It's doing no harm in the garage.
