I realise that Freight Rover Sports don't float everyone's boat here, but a mate of mine is getting rid of this so I thought I'd post up some details just on the off-chance.

- 1800cc engine;

- 32,000 miles on the clock;

- Serviced and will have full year's MOT;

- Bodywork in nice condition with the odd blemish but nothing too serious (has obviously been garaged);

- Strangely, it has wire wheels ( I would have taken these off and sold them separately as I bet they're worth a few bob on their own, but he's leaving them on the car);

- Last owner had it for years before popping his clogs - it then sat in the garage for a while until the widow decided to get rid and offered it to the seller;

- I believe all the history is present;

- All seems in good order to this amateur;

- Number plate worth £1m if you like offending Italians.

He's asking £3,000 for it but I reckon he could be knocked down a bit with some persuasion. Car is located near Hemel Hempstead, Herts.

If anyone wants any more info then drop me a PM and I'll do my best to find out.

If the 9 on the number plate was a 4 it would suit a FIAT.

Those wires look shite on a rubber bumpered car. Still, i'm glad i don't live near Hemel any more as that would be exceedingly tempting.
