An excellent video. You could never accuse ARG of underselling the Montego when it was launched, could you?

Excellent uploading man, from the days when new car salesmen had to use the word aerodynamic at least twice a minute.

Thanks for uploading, these are excellent.

I love how about 3:15 in, while bigging up how wonderful the Montego is, they cut to a shot of a beige one with a really skewed panel fit on the boot.

second video now uploaded, I have amended the original post, as i feel it didn't need a new thread

That was excellent!. I like the way they cut to the A reg with the ill fitting bonnet too!. I wonder how many if any of those cars survived or indeed all long they survived for. the ABC reg is would imagine is a fake but the others might not be. Early press cars perhaps? The interior shots are of early cars going by the thin steering wheel and the door cards. I like the way they talk up the LCD dash. I owned a Montego with one of those an early B reg which is currently being restored by someone in the mmoc club. The Montegos LCD dash was better than the Maestros, and had they stuck with it and developed it it might have worked. Apperently there is a landfill site that is full of bit for the LCD dashes as the company that could fix them ended up with hundreds and hundreds of bits that no one wanted. So they got dumped!. Mind you LCD Montegos were never exacty ten a penny even in the 80s!. Looking forward to the next vid!
