Retro Rides Breen Sands Meet

[Negative Creep]

As you may be aware his was supposed ot be two weeks ago but cancelled due to the weather. There was a pretty good turnout and a decent variety of things to take pictures of and plaster in the internet. So here they are, in no particular order since the new photobuckets idea of alphabetical is somewhat different than mine.

 

 

 

Unfortunately a few people (including the above orange Mini and beige Escort) couldn't behave themselves and started messing around, with the end result that we've all been banned. well done guys, well done

Aye, I was pretty pissed off to hear about the idiots ruining it for everyone else. Couldn't make it this time but I'd hoped to get there at some point.

 

There are quite a lot of cars there I like, and a few that seem utterly ruined. The usual Retro-Rides mix! Was anyone else at this one?

I absolutely love the beige P reg Polo, thank god it hasn't been "scened up".

 

I have never been to a retro-rides meet but a lot of those cars seem to be as they left the factory which is not what I was expecting I must admit!

The red mini woody is nice, despite the 'scene' roof rack.

There's some pretty cool cars there, the Silver Civic is really nice, I do like that a lot, and even the new Mini with the white banded wheels looks pretty smart which a rare thing for me to say, but like Dollys said, it's just a shame that the absent mindedness of a few others ruined the enjoyment for many others.

A wannabe redneck in a pickup and some dickheads in Minis tore up the beach, then gave verbals to the beach warden when challenged.

I read over on the blue that some spazzs decided to go drifting their Mk2 Escort, Mini & Dodge Ram's 20ft away from the others cars & crowds, even after repeat warnings to stop or the party would be banned by some beach officals.

 

Like Chase just said basically.

I'm sure the beach will get over it... but totally understand being a dickhead in a car near crowds ends up in accidents.

 

Shame there aren't more airfields for people to be idiots on. I'd like to try without the fear of points, killing someone or being branded a twunt.

I was there with the MK1 Fiesta and Rover SD1.

 

It was a really good meet with a variety of different people from various areas of the old car scene just on a beach, happily being car people.

 

Just a shame that we were all joined by a small faction of the utter cock wand section of car people who decided to fuck it up for everyone else.

I can honestly say the SD1 and the Fiesta Finesse were two of my favourite cars there. I need a Rover like that in my life
