Right, really gotta go, i am never ever gonna get round to doing anthing with it. After being stored inside for the last few years, it is now out side due to new and improved mrsks's possesions taking up valuable car storage space. mot expired, I really dont think it will need much of anything other than a new battery and a service to get going again. really really CBA with ebay. someone save it please.

The Volvo sounds cheap next to Scooters one he's trying to shift. All the cars sound well priced in fact and that R25 looks lovely.

this is only volvo pic i have, it wasnt outside long, just whilst my new shed was built.

its cheap I know, owes me twice what i need, but i simply cant find time to do anything with them all. i really want to thin the fleet in the easiest least time consuming way. I deal with joe public all day 5 days a week, home time is my escape, so ebay will be a last resort.

hese is the renault in its garage, its now less dusty due to sitting outside. I did run this for a while a few years ago, was lovely.

 Ohh I like the BMW but have no beans, don't suppose you will take first born, Right arm and a snickers for it? Hope you don't sell it fast as the lotto & me have a date on Sat, you'll be my first port of call. GLWS

Kinkers could you pm me your post code so I can get a shipping quote? Reckon it would start and run ok with a new battery for a quick drive home on this side after its come off the boat?

AB34 5BD. I see no reason why it would give any issues more than any other french luxobarge. so, it might FAIL, but i would chance it. :) I know it doesnt like being hooked upto my battery pack thing, which is maybe more because of the battery in it being totaly farked.

Anything else from your stash likely to be coming up for sale Lee? That R25 looks a honey. Whats the story on the 900 turbo.. ?

Sadly no pics of the civic, it is buried deep at the back of shed where it has been for near 3 yrs, so that answers mot question. It is from memory totally free from rust ( the reason for me keeping it) it was running fine and mot'd and taxed when parked. Broken spot light lenses and noisy n/s/f wheel bearing were all it needed. Silver with black half leather, went like stink. :)

At £300 it's hardly big risk. :) I would imagine the vetc engines are quite desirable. I liked it because it was a bland looking estate but went like a scalded cat.

The Saabs are NOT AND NEVER WILL BE FOR SALE. I do have a xj8 3.2 1owner with 54k that I must try and do something with too. Needs a wee bit of paint. £700 as is, still mot'd for a bit, I think.

That beemer looks lovely - is it as good as it looks? I may also be on lottery watch Saturday!!

It's not new, but I would bet its as good an original one as you will find for this sort of money, there are a few frilly edges which are still at the rub with t cut and apply a wee bit of touch up stage. Nothing that would warrant any paintwork. Interior is perfect, as is the hardtop. Going in for mot tomorrow........

BMw passed its mot today with no advisories. :) not bad for over 2 years being laid up. RAv hopefully sold....

Out of interest, will you be putting the civic in for an mot? Always liked those civic estates.

Posted

Nah, probably not, sadly if I can't get any offers for it, the scrap man will take it, £350 and you can test it yourself?

Posted

Hi Tayne, I have the wee 106 which is still tested, also have a lovely scecento to sporting which isn't, but could be. Neither of which were on my list of things to go..... But......

Concerning the Civic, do you reckon with a new battery on and some tools in the boot, it would drive away?

Posted

Yup, I'm sure of it, if the weather is ok tomorrow, I will jump it and drive it out of the shed and take a picture. Once it's out, it's not going back in. :)

Right. Busy day amongst shite today. First one to start was Volvo, second turn of key, whhhooooosh. No chopping no rattles, a smooth even idle, other than flat tyres and battery, seemed exactly as it was a few years ago. Ran it for an hour or so until it ran out of fuel. Hopefully the following shit pics will show it is far too good to break, only rust on body is right at bottom of o.s.f wing, size of a 50p. I guess this is the reason I bought it and

Kept it.

Next was honda. Same thing, but no flat tyres. Sounds perfect. Again way tidier than I remember. Zero rust visible. abs light staying on. Battery goosed. Other than that, great. As with Volvo, way to good to break. Look at rear arches....

Lastly Renault. Didn't try to start due to being cold, but took a few snaps to show how nice it is. The rear drivers arch lip is the only rust blew I could see.

Gosh both the Volvo and Honda (especially) look like utter bargains, Those Honda's are excellent cars, I used to drive lots of them when they were new and loved having to collect them, they really fly when the VTEC kicks in.

Posted

I had a quick work out earlier to see how much that Honda would cost to get back to mine, £170 on a flight from Norwich and then a 10 hour drive home...

If you can get it back reasonably easily Bol then you should go for it, you wouldn't be disappointed and it's super practical too.
