Modern Poverty Spec Shite

Not real poverty spec, but we tried out one of these this afternoon:

Suzuki Splash at £7995 (aircon is another £500 though), which seemed good value for money. It's probably the only new car at the price that will actually take five adults, although the boot is tiny. The little engine thrums along nicely and the controls are light and positive; the only signs of cheapness are a thumpy ride on anything bumpier than a snooker table. Don't know how depreciation would stack up against the Dacia, but it is more economical to run so you would probably get the extra cost back in 4-5 years in any case. We haven't looked at the Dacia yet, but the road tests so far don't look too promising :(

Those Mi, up, citi go things are pretty shit. They're tiny, badly equiped and expensive. We went to look at the VW up one for the mrs and the sales women just we on about how lucky we'd be to get one etc. That Suzuki looks much more appealling for the same money. We ended up with a with special edition Shitroen C3 with loads of extras and 3 years free servicing for less cash.

Same. Domestic Management's well-chuffed with her C3 - and she is a hard woman to please...

I have a 17 year old Citroen and I'm not worried about it breaking down. It was a reference to this.
