Antifreeze and screenwash -30.

I,ve recently sold a vehicle that is going to a cold part of the world and i need the coolant and screenwash to dip to about -30 cover

Can someone suggest a yellow coolant that goes this low and a screenwash,the current coolant is perfect and recently had a full flush but is covered to just over -20,i need a neat yellow top up to get it down to -30,same with the screenwash,this is pink.

You can buy screenwash at Lidl that is rated down to -60C undiluted.

I bought morrisons screen wash and it froze at -3. I was jumping up and down about that. I always thought all screen washes included at least a basic anti freezing agent but apparently not. No wonder it was on offer..

Always read the labels. There is some nasty crap around, some of it not even cheap.

Meths for screenwash, brilliant. Just don't drink it.

I either use Halfords cheap screenwash concentrate neat, but I use it neat. It's not as good when diluted.

It's never frozen up on me and clears the screen well. It's a fetching shade of MEGA LUMINOUS GREEN which is always good. That reminds me, I've had 2l of it pumping round my computer for the last 18 months.

 

If I'm feeling flush I sometimes treat myself to VW genuine stuff. £3.50 for 1l which dilutes to make 2l total, it's absolutely fantastic - clears the screen lovely and seems to make the wipers wipe better than usual and it smells great.
