If you’re referring to the changes he made this summer (having to register etc) that was down to a persistent and malicious troll and a full on troll attack which left admin with a nasty clearing up job the next day

It’s a lot less active now but at least the troll problem is solved...

No, I meant when he closed down ARO's "phpbb"-style forum ( http://www.aronline.co.uk/forum/index.php ) in response to a few dummy-spits and just told everyone to comment on his website articles instead. He's re-started some kind of alternative forum now which is embedded within the main website but it's very awkward to navigate and, to put it politely, not quite populated by the same calibre of people. I stick with this place now.
