Got back last week from a few days on Rhodes. Didn't see much of interest but I was intrigued by this :-

Made in Greece using Japanese (Mazda?) mechanicals. Probably early seventies (dictatorship 1967-74 keen to show off a bit of a vehicle industry).

WHS, I'm no expert but from my limited pools of knowledge on Japanese three wheel commericals of the 1960s/70s and Greek assembled motorvehicles.... It looks a lot the Mazda three wheelers of the era like a Mazda T2000/T1500 or somesuch and I know that there was a push for shonky home built gear in the era so it might be local produce if it isn't an official Mazda product I think the door line is different to all the other Mazda's I've briefly seen.

 

Either way it is epicly shite.

there's also a guy in Rhodes with an Attica, while we're on the subject of three wheelers in Rhodes - I've a piccie of it somewhere, a red and cream one!

Sad -isnt it, that we know there whereabouts of an obscure truck on a small site, someplace on a remote distant Greek isle.
