My First Shite Picture

Got a snap of this today, my first shite picture of this actually pretty tidy Sierra (I want it). http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=3143wx1&s=6

Only thing is though, I got a pretty funny look for taking a picture of somebody else’s crappy old Ford. I don’t want to get reported to the owner/Police/men in white coats with butterfly nets. Any tips for candid shite photography from the masters?

Best bet for showing pics on forums like this:

 

 

Scroll down your TinyPic page where the photo is at, on the left you'll see a menu with the title - 'Grab Your Code', copy the code located in the 2nd bar down, (Hint - It'll say - 'IMG Code for Forums & Message Boards' above it)

 

Paste the code here (Code will look a bit like this - ) and voila, you should be able to see your picture on the forum as you see it on TinyPic.

 

Tips for grabbing a pic in stealth mode? If its taken with a phone camera, pretend your reading a text message or something. Dont make it too obvious your taking a pic. If its with a proper camera? Depends, if its one of those new, ultra-slim ones, pretend its phone (But make sure no one elses around) if its a normal camera, then I dont know...Soz.

I tried to copy and paste the code but my PC wouldn’t let me...ah well I’ll try again.

 

This was with a camera phone...pretending to text is a good idea. I’m really considering getting “Ignore me-I’m nuts†printed on my clothes.

And the amateur photographer spiel is a good idea.

Round here people are given poo-poo for taking pictures in publics spaces, which makes it hard...well if they want to bang me up for taking a picture of Sierra Estate good luck to ‘em

There's no laws against taking a photo of something in the "public domain" (i.e. a car parked in a public road). If challenged, tell them their car is nice and leave it at that.

Here's a tip. Don't point the camera at the sun, and also, don't get your own shadow in the picture. No garage doors, and no datestamps either.... Oh, and NO MOCCASSINS!

Good tips. I don't carry a telephone, but I always have a spottings camera with me. (I have my priorities sorted.) I always try to keep the first few pics on the memory card as images of my own shite, then I can show people them if I'm caught, and have to share my interests. I've never had anyone be funny after I've opened up to them. I can just about do it in Thai now too, which is handy as I do most of my tat papping over there.
