I had heard the handed down fables of these things, and I suppose, despite lack of any validation, I even somewhat accepted their existence, albeit in a skeptical ready to have my belief system quashed kind of a way, but not like religion or global warming mind, where it is all too obvious that certain parties stand to gain in perpetuating a myth, the question always remained, who would gain by contriving such a legend, until todays rummage in a charity shop threw up this artifact trumping the Turin shroud or any number of suntanned polar bears.

My God but it's beautiful.

A combination lock, that locks the gearstick and the handbrake lever together? Looks deviously simple, whatever it is.

Ive got an old AA book of the automobile that gives instructions how to fit these lol

So it's not a precision engineered, tea-leaf skull smasher then?

That's fucking awesome. Bet it won't fit my early Land Rover though.

Removing the rotor arm is cheaper :P

On a diesel? You sure of that? They did that at the factory and charged more for it!

Yes,my idea is only for petrol ones !

Hidden power cut off switches work wonders though

We have a correct answer, it prevents operating the handbrake button. Had a go on it and did manage to pick it, but not as easy or quickly as a pushbike lock would give in. The mounting screw is a shear bolt, so would be a bit of a nuisance to remove.

I would like to wear it on my gentleman but fear I might lose it as it seems far too big.
