Fantastic pictures of some of my favourite cars there, well done!

I love the race SM and the bright orange Mk1 CX GTi in particular. :D

 

Do Citroen SM's have upside-down Fiat 130 tail lights?

Theyre totally different arent they :roll: those SM lights do look familiar from somewhere though, maybe just from another picture of an SM :roll:

GR9 stuff! I mentioned this to a mate who lives in Bradford and he convinced me (not that it was very difficult) that we should go and have a proper look tomorrow. Hope we'll be able to catch a bit of action before it all dies down! :mrgreen:

I've got more photos (or at least I think I have) that I took on that old Olympus FTL. God knows if they actually came out. I'll have to get the film developed and see.

Well!!!.... cheers 2 all for this info.

 

Driving back up the A1 from Mansfield, on Wednesday, I passed a fair few foreign TA, DS and 2CV [...& i think an Ami] :)

 

Had to be going somewhere, I thought :?:

 

I was just totally blown away by the manner in which the [male] drivers were whistfully ambling along with the MOST GOBSMAKKING elegant 'femmes' beside them, all long dark hair, raybans & Gauloises.... sort of Look.

A DS, in the rear mirror, IS a Look!!!

 

Never mind the barbie... get the tent up!! Two of the DS were pulling 'flat top' trailer tents. A 2CV had a yellow[i think] 'coal bunker on wheels' caravan, proportional in size to the car.

This looks awesome, I heard it was on and I wouldn't have minded going especially as I'm not that far away, unfortunately not able to now :( I shall enjoy looking at the photos though.
