Welcome to AS. Just post the pics here. We are too irreverent (or is that stupid?) to use official club/show names.

Thanks - just back what an amazing day, camera decided to die half way through but had a back up camera on standby thankfully. Drove on and off with ease was expecting massive queues but i guess a lot of visitors had booked for the full event (The camping fields appeared to be very full and didnt have time to really have a look around).

Since I went in a non-Citroen parking was down at the South gate (There was a F-reg red Maestro parked close by). The autojumble was near the clubs area, didnt seem to be big at all. Pick up some spares from ECAS - they had a largish stall in the 'Javel' hall, 2CV City wasn't selling spares at all (If they did then I didnt encounter it) rather seemed to selling their ' £££' rebuilds.

Highlights - Keep Left Museum with the prototypes and that you could get right up to the cars.

The club area - liked the stripy BX with the Bourne Citroen Centre and other loads of stickers on it complete with worn seat, rusty wheels and bubbly rear panel.

Sorry to be really anoraky, but this is a very rare car indeed, as it is a 2500c GTi, but it is non-turbo and has manual gearbox. It was intended originally for the Australian Market and so has Air Conditioning in the rear too. A lovely car and a credit to it's owner, Clive, the RWD Columnist for The Citroenian.

Bloody eck! Right on my doorstep too, have I missed it?!

One day left - tomorrow! I can only imagine what the attendance will be like... :o

I did not know this, I thought it was just an exceptionally tidy gold CX. I learn a lot on the internets :) If you can, please do let Clive know that I was very impressed from the seat of the Princess and I tried very hard to make sure he drove past so I could get a proper look.

That CGAT is still around? Wonder what power it's putting out now?

And that 'Le Dandy' DS is tres cool.

Yep, although it hasn't been out and about for a couple of years. Power-wise not sure exactly, however I'm very lucky to have been passenger in it once. No words to describe it really, it's utterly unbelievable...:shock: Put it this way, a friend has a 420BHP Impreza, and doesn't come close to CGAT... :o

I am afraid we will have to agree to differ there cos I don't think it is well conceptualised at all. Chapron's designers have not harmonised the back bit that they designed to the flowing curves of the front. And then they stuck a whole load of tacky trim all over it just like a pikey caravan.

Turns out it's a Concorde, not a Dandy.

Nevertheless, hardly a pikey caravan... :P:P
