I spotted an Instignia estate with the boot open today, and noticed the neat little secondary lights under the enormous tailgate:

 

Not actual spot, its an internet pic.

 

But then I had a think and remembered:

 

 

The 353 had little marker lights under the tailgate 40 years ago.

Can we think of any other recycled ideas?

Didn't Range Rover claim to have invented directional headlights? Or was it BMW?
