Corsa B pre bridge offers or spares anyone?

Well then shite fans, A frame action this morning means the BMW has finally gone in a non profit type arrangement and taking up it's driveway space at my mates gaff is this beautiful* example of late bubble Nova teen hoon mobile.

Tax and test just run out and despite it still being a runner with decent enough interior and having only an advisory for leaking rocker cover gasket last year my current feeling that it's future life is to be visited on the slow boat to China.

Have a few more pics for your viewing pleasure.

Fresh off the frame and pushed onto the drive as it's tank was typically bone dry

Paint work looks like it may have broke down in the tiger enclosure at some point recently.

(bonnet open in the above shot, panel gaps are decent if that makes any odds)

Right eye looks like it's had a bang

Interesting dentage could tell a tail if anyone cared to listen

Shite colour and condition seals the deal no?

Claw sharpening been happening on rear too.

It's a 1.2 and has 4 decent tyres, glass, lights and interior. A straightening of headlight may see it right for a ticket though it could be parted out and scrapped for more and the sentimentality is nill on this one.

TBH I fancy a crack around the oval and could borrow the gear though time and money is against me so if anyone wants a crack as a complete going concern or at any spares before it's filled up with or scrap mountain then get in touch via pm.

Much obliged.

Will

Where is your mate's gaffe and how much does he want for said shit chariot? Sadly enough I've saved quite a few of these from the bridge and another possibly wouldn't hurt.

If it helps anyone make their minds up, it has 3 late Nova rims on it...... worth saving just for that fact!

Jeez Billy, didn't think even you'd be up for this (though I mustard mitt it's appeals to me in it's spectacularly shiteness). My mates place is just down the road from me in Bexleyheath Kent. I'll have a word with him though am guessing the bridge plus spares price it would achieve and the distance from your good self will mean it needs a particular local sad case to take it on...

I've not had a good look though a brief inspection would suggest a battery and a kicking of the wonky headlamp may see it a fresh test, that is a brief look mind!

Aye, could a be a bridge too far as that'd be a bit of a trek from here sadly.

Ha, I guess Nova too on pick up, must surely add value  I'll find out more details tomorrow as the car had a wad of papers with it, waiting on the V5 naturally.

No worries. I could frame it as far as Welsh Wales in a month or so, not to tempt you like  I've Just chatted with my pal Matt and we reckon it's worth 250-300 parted out and sent to the scales plus the convenience of having a bucket for the metal currently filling his garden. Sad really as I'd roll it if I needed a vehicle and I know others would too but threats of redundancy and shite bimmer sales mean it needs best returns. I could spent the time and money getting it a test though I'd fear losing money or making none for the time spent so...

It surely the only answer :|

Sadly I think you're right there and to be honest if you can score that much out of it over the bridge/broken for parts you'd be mad not to. Getting it to Wales would have helped, depending where of course, as the nearest bit isn't too far from my house in sunny England!

Shame to see it go to the bridge if that's where its headed. Any idea on the condition of the underneath?

If it is bridge bound have a word with Phil_lihp , the master cylinder might be the same and maybe cut the battery tray out for him too.

Thanks meggersdog - to be honest I hadn't even considered a Corsa as I assumed the battery tray would be different. A mate of mine's just weighed in a rotten M-plate one and I didn't get there in time to see if anything would fit!

That said, does anyone know for sure if either of these parts are compatible? If so and they're in good nick, I'd be happy to offer some suitable £££s if you do end up breaking it.

I'm sorry, but it's a Corsa, and not even a good one - if that term can be applied to one.

Binning a Nova would be a shame. Flinging this in the crusher isn't.

Frag the fucking thing and pocket the cash. If you can strip some bits off it and increase your quids, that's even better.

The battery is located on the nearside chassis rail on the Corsa so it won't be much use to you I'm afraid.

Yup. There's an identical one that parks around here, same colour, M plate with a bald front tyre. They all want bridging.
